The system has two variants:
BEAM OVER BEAM
The EXTEND beam is placed under the affected beam, achieving the transmission of loads to the reinforcement beam by caulking space between both with controlled retraction mortar.
Beam over beam
BEAM BETWEEN TWO BEAMS
The damaged beam is placed under a U-shaped tray transmitting loads to two EXTEND reinforcing beams, located on both sides of the beam through transversal profiles or sleepers resting on both and placed at a metre interval. Load transmission is achieved with the caulking of controlled retraction mortar.
Beam between two beams
The adjustment and hanging of the transversal profiles on the EXTEND beam is performed by using some omega shaped clamps fitted together with threaded rods, which in turn serve for adjusting the height of the sleepers.
