It is an extensible aluminum beam formed by tubular profiles with faces of variable thickness. It comprises two or three sections, placing the larger section in the centre and the other two at the ends. The connection between the different sections is done by simple penetration of the different parts without welding or bolts.
It is the aluminum parts that are responsible for transmitting through the anchors the loads of the EXTEND reinforcement beam to the resistant element: wall, girder or column. This element is designed to transmit the slightest movement possible, since the support can be considered as a single joint or articulation.
These are important parts for the behaviour of the reinforcement since they are responsible for transmitting the loads of the beams to walls or resistant elements. Normally they are made of threaded rods and resins or of mechanical fasteners.

It is the filler element which is responsible for transmitting the loads of the beam to the reinforcements beams. The space between the new beam and the damaged beam is filled with mortar using hydraulic binders without retraction. In the caulking of beams with aluminosis a special mortar is used which is compatible with cement.
